1.2738/P-20 HH (Plastic Mould Steel) is a premium, pre-hardened mold steel that is frequently utilized for plastic injection molds. It minimizes the requirement for heat treatment by providing superior machinability, polishability, and dimensional stability. It guarantees extended mold life, resistance to wear and corrosion, and is appropriate for medium to large molds, inserts, and die-casting applications in plastics and engineering components due to its consistent structure and good hardness (about 280–320 HB).
